Half Moon Manicure

Hello, so this post is going to a Half Moon Manicure, this is another simple design but looks really effective.

For this design you will need 3 polishs and some hole reinforcements (you can pick these up at most supermarkets and stationary stores)

I used -
  • Essie - Pink Diamond
  • Essie - Blanc
  • Calvin Klein - Hallucinate
To begin you are going to want to paint your nails with two coats of the pink, after your nails are completely dry you are going to want to take a hole reinforcement and cut it half, this make it easier when applying it to the nail.

Take one half of the reinforcement and place the curved side on your nail (See picture 1.) Continue to place the reinforcements on the rest you nails.

Once you have positioned the reinforcments to where you want them it is time to paint over the pink with the white polish (See picture 2.) This might take two coats, after you have painted the nail you are going to want to wait until the white is completely dry before removing the reinforcement.

When it is time to remove the hole reinforcer you are going to want to peel it carefully so you can get as clean of an edge as possible. After you have removed all the reinforces top the design off with a glitter polish for that added sparkle.

If you would like to mix it up feel free to choose you own colour combinations  and maybe add a matte top coat for a different look. See you soon for another step by step design.
